چکیده
This paper presents an engineering cost model which protransmission resources. This study examines three to the literature: the switched active star, and passive star. For each an engineering planning determines the Cost Of installation over One quadrant of a network (Fig. 1). This section reviews these architectures and examines vides a framework for evaluating alternative network architectures for providing fiber to the home. The analysis employs this model to construct estimates of the average cost per subscriber of several network alternatives which have been proposed in the literature. Our results identify two possible network architectures, the active double star and passive double star, as particularly attractive alternatives. Sensitivity FORSN designs analyses provide detail on the critical contributors to overall costs. The paper concludes with a discussion of several policy issues raised by the the component technologies whose cost and performance analysis, including issues of the proper allocation of risk from fiber-tocharacteristics determine the Of an * . . the-home investments. overall architecture.

A Comparative Study: Offering Multi-Service of the Generic Broadband Residential Access Techniques
Nowadays, the broadband residential access infrastructure remains one of the major research areas for NGN (next generation network). Apart from popular ADSL (asymmetrical digital subscriber loop), HFC (hybrid fiber-coax) and APON (ATM passive optical network), academic communities and industry are increasingly showing great concern about Ethernet technique in the subscriber access network. This...

Supplier selection and allocation of optimal order quantity are two of the most important processes in closed-loop supply chain (CLSC) and reverse logistic (RL). So that providing high quality raw material is considered as a basic requirement for a manufacturer to produce popular products, as well as achieve more market shares. On the other hand, considering the existence of competitive environ...

In this paper, a mathematical programming model is presented for integrated problem of closed loop supply chain network design and supplier selection. The suppliers propose discount policy based on purchase amount and loyalty of buyers which are both taken from the elements of RFM (Recency, Frequency and Monetary) technique. The main objective of this paper which is formulated by a mixed-integ...

One of the major challenges to providing full-rate digital subscriber line (xDSL) access to residential customers in rural or remote locations is the use of existing copper infrastructure. First, copper is not particularly good for moving high frequencies over extended distances. Second, much of the existing copper in the United States is of diminished quality. Third, digital loop carriers, bri...
